Campaign Background

The world we are playing in is called Toril. Its twin planet Abeir was created 30,000 years ago during the first sundering when the gods split Toril-Abeir into twin earthlike planets. In that 30,000 years, the creator races, dragons, giants, and elves ruled Toril at one time or another. All of their mighty empires are 10,000 years or so gone, and the great ruins of those civilizations are now sprinkled along with 10,000+ years of human, dwarf, Gnome, half-elf, Orc, Halfling, Genasi, Dragonborn, Tiefling, centaur, Wemic (liontaur), lizardfolk, goblin, and other minor race ruins as well. There is also the…

The Temple of Fire and Blood

Upon seeing his adoptive mother, she snapped out of her trance and saw Nemo surprised that he was there in Wolfdun. Willow says that three bodies of missing elven scouts appeared from the blackened ruins yesterday. The watchers who guard the ruins were pulled back to Wolfdun but…

The Story So Far

The Story So far… It is mid-spring on the 21st day of Tarsakh (April) and the forest around Wolfdun is quieter than most springs. The wall guard of elves and half-elves are particularly alert this morning as they scan the hills of the crags for anything out of place. At the witching hour of the night, a scout reported that three new bodies were found the day before at the Blackened Ruins north of Wolfdun, along with a stranger in a dark hooded cloak that arrived overnight to set up a camp nearby. Never before had three bodies appeared near…

Wolfdun

The small walled enclave of Wolfdun is more ancient than most know. It was an outpost of the green and dark elven empire of Miyeritar that was destroyed in the Dark Disaster, reducing the country to what’s now known as the High Moor. Wolfdun became a hidden forest enclave afterward and south to keep its location and population as quiet as possible. About 1,500 humans, dwarves, gnomes, half-elves, and green elves live together here, but to outsiders, it seems like no more than 200 or so as Wolfdun’s magic and trees hide the true population. Wolfdun is known for its…
